This describes how Orbit and Orbit Recruit ("Orbit"), built and operated by Induuce, handle personal data, whether that's you, a team member you've invited, a client contact, or a candidate who applied to a role through Orbit Recruit.
What we collect
- Account details: name, email, and role, when you or your admin create your login.
- Whatever your team enters into your workspace: client records, tasks, invoices, documents, and, on Orbit Recruit, candidate details, CVs, interview notes and scorecards.
- Basic usage data (like when you last logged in) to keep the product working and secure.
How we use it
Strictly to run Orbit: showing you your own workspace's data, sending the emails your workspace triggers (task assignments, interview invites, stage updates, and so on), and keeping the service reliable and secure. We don't use your data, or your candidates' and clients' data, for advertising, and we don't sell it to anyone.
Who we share it with
We don't share your data with third parties for their own purposes: no data brokers, no ad networks, no selling candidate or client lists. The only outside companies involved are the infrastructure we run on, acting strictly as processors under our instruction:
- Supabase hosts our database and file storage (CVs, logos, documents).
- Resend delivers the emails Orbit sends (invitations, notifications, candidate emails).
- Vercel hosts the application itself.
None of them may use your data for their own purposes.
Tenant isolation
Every company on Orbit gets its own private workspace. Data is scoped to your workspace at the database level: another company on Orbit can't see your clients, candidates, or records, and you can't see theirs.
Candidates and Orbit Recruit
If you applied for a role through Orbit Recruit, your CV and application details are visible to the recruiting agency that posted that role, and are used to run their hiring process (reviewing your application, contacting you, scheduling interviews). We're a data processor for that agency, not the decision-maker on their hiring. Questions about a specific application should go to the agency you applied to.
How long we keep it
For as long as your workspace exists. If an account is closed, its data is deleted from our systems, aside from anything we're legally required to retain for a limited period (like billing records).
Your choices
You (or your workspace admin) can update or delete most records directly in Orbit. To request deletion of personal data we hold about you outside of that, contact us below.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as Orbit changes. We'll update the date at the top when we do.
