Compensation: ₦80,000 monthly base, earn up to ₦100,000 with performance commission

About MarketRide

MarketRide is a logistics platform connecting SMEs, vendors, and everyday users with reliable dispatch riders for fast, affordable parcel delivery across Lagos. We're launching in Yaba and building a strong network of riders and vendors on the ground, and we need people who know the area and can move fast.

The Role

As a Field Onboarding Officer, you'll be out in Yaba and other designated areas every day, meeting vendors, shop owners, and dispatch riders, explaining how MarketRide works, and getting them signed up and active on the platform. You're the face of MarketRide on the street, so how you engage people matters as much as how many you sign up.

Key Responsibilities

• Visit markets, shops, business clusters, and rider parks within Yaba and assigned areas daily to onboard vendors and riders

• Explain MarketRide's value clearly, including pricing, how deliveries work, and how riders earn

• Guide new vendors and riders through registration and app setup on the spot, making sure accounts are complete and active

• Meet daily, weekly, and monthly onboarding targets

• Distribute flyers and other campaign materials in the field

• Collect feedback, objections, and questions from vendors and riders and report them to the team

• Submit daily activity reports showing areas covered, sign-ups completed, and follow-ups needed

• Follow up with onboarded vendors and riders to encourage first use of the platform

Requirements

• Must live within the Yaba region

• Strong knowledge of Yaba, its markets, streets, business hubs, and rider hotspots

• Confident communicator in English and Pidgin, Yoruba is an added advantage

• Comfortable approaching strangers and handling objections politely

• Owns a smartphone and can use apps comfortably

• Self-driven, target-oriented, and able to work outdoors daily

• Previous experience in field sales, agent onboarding, fintech/POS agent recruitment, or logistics is a plus

What You'll Earn

• Base pay: ₦80,000 per month

• Performance commission: extra earnings for hitting daily, weekly, and monthly onboarding targets, taking total monthly pay up to ₦100,000
